


Mr. Mark is in his sixth year of training at LVIRK Training Center. He has instructed the beginner and more advanced students for over two years and enjoys every minute of it. He is a member of the Black Belt Club and Leadership Team. Mr. Mark enjoys helping younger students with their karate. The kids love him and respect him as a leader. They are always willing to take advice from him.
Becoming a leader, has helped Mr. Mark take responsibilities for himself and others. Practicing karate, he found a deep interest in the martial arts and someday hopes to achieve his black belt. He is currently a Jr. Black belt/brown stripe and working for his next rank before 1st degree black belt.
Mr. Mark was invited to try karate class with his best friend. After a month went by, he loved it. With Sensei Becky, Sensei Guignet, and the students, it felt just like home! Karate was a good way for Mr. Mark to exercise and learn self-defense. He has improved tremendously with his self confidence and self control. Mr. Mark went from being a shy little kid to a well-rounded teen. He feels that karate has truly changed his life in so many different ways.
Mr. Mark doesn’t just do karate. He played soccer and basketball. He plays trumpet for over 5 years and now proudly plays in the Bethlehem Catholic Band. He loves theatre and has participated in school and community theatre. Mark is a freshman at Bethlehem Catholic High School, where he strives to always "do his best" and continues in the honors program.
Mr. Mark's goal is to excel in karate as well as all other aspects of his life. He wants to share what karate taught him with others and help everyone understand that with the proper training and skill anything in life is possible.
