Team Hammer - it's time to step it up!!!

It is the last week of April and Team Hammer has upped the intensity in their training.  Everyone is looking forward to the upcoming Combat in the Cage Fight Night on May 17, 2008. Team Hammer has nine fighters getting ready to do battle in the cage. The biggest challenge for the team so far. We are looking for an outstanding performance by all. The fighters on the proposed card are: Chris Be', Chris Calderon, Kevin Papics, Niall Gardner, Jeshua Alston, Jeff Morber, Frank Piff, Devin Derrico, and Tom Waltemyer.

Coach Rodney has stepped up the intensity of each class. The level of endurance and cardio must be very high and is evident in each workout. The team has been sparring at a more intense level with a little more blood and pain than usual. The fighters are running and weight training on their own as well as class time. It is always good to have a team to push you to your limits so you reach your full potential.

Team Hammer has a chance to go to this fight night and sweep it all and go nine and zero as a team. Is it setting the goal high on the first cage fight as a team? Yes, but Coach Rod expects nothing less than us going out to win everything. He believes in all of his fighters and thinks they can all win as long as they believe in themselves and in what he has taught them.
