On Friday, March 18, 2011, William Miranda won a heavy weight Boxing match in Chester, PA.  Will was a last minute substitute for this boxing match with Jamie Campbell.  Will gave it his all as he fought this giant of a man.  Jamie towered over Will and had a 51 pound weight advantage.  Will refused to let this intimidate him and he met his opponent head on by setting the pace and tiring out the larger man.  Will pummeled Jamie during all four rounds and won the match by unanimous decision.  This was a very exciting match which has resulted in other opportunities for Will.  We want to congratulate Will on his well deserved win. 

On Friday, April 1, 2011, Will took another last minute fight.  This time against John Mercurio in Philadelphia, PA.  In the first round, Will got poked in the eye.  Even though his eye was swelling throughout the fight to the point where he lost his vision in that eye by the last round, Will pressured John throughout the entire fight.  However, the decision was for the John Mercurio, who was the hometown favorite.

Will is scheduled to fight next at the Fight For Hope in Reading, PA on May 21, 2011.
