On Saturday, July 31, 2010, James Rivers represented Team Hammer MMA in an amateur MMA bout at First State Fights Aggravated Assault in Dover, DE.  James faced a tough opponent and put up a good fight.  His opponent took him to the ground each round, but James worked submissions from the ground.  At the end of the fight, James lost by unanimous decision.  

AJ Loughin was also scheduled to fight at the event, but his opponent withdrew a few days prior to the fight.  AJ spent a lot of time and hard work preparing for the fight, so we hope to see AJ fighting an another venue soon.
