On Saturday, October 9, 2010, four fighters from Team Hammer participated in World Cagefighting Championship’s Brawl at the Hall at Agricultural Hall in Allentown.   

James Rivers vs Andy Beil — Welterweight Division
Amateur fighter, James Rivers, lost by heel hook in the 2nd round.   

Jose de la Rosa Jr. vs Dave Versuk — Welterweight Division
Jose de la Rosa Jr. made his amateur debut at this event.  He stepped into the cage with a true warrior spirit and battled with his opponent for three rounds.  In the end, the fight went to the scorecards and Jose lost by a split decision.  MMA MELEE picked this fight as the Fight of the Night.   

Pat Russo vs Terrill Leech — Light Heavyweight
Team Hammer professional fighter, Pat Russo, made this fight action packed as he overpowered his opponent in the beginning of the first round.  Seeing an opportunity to take his opponent down, Pat tried a belly to back suplex. Unfortunately when he hit the mat, the weight of his opponent bruised his rib and Pat was unable to continue due to injury.

George Glykas vs Boris Rakita — Welterweight Division
Professional MMA fighter, George Glykas, looked like a beast!  It didn’t take long at all for him to show his huge power up against the cage and lock on a standing guillotine choke.  Rakita didn’t tap but the referee stopped the fight when his legs started shaking uncontrollably. MMA MELEE picked this fight for Submission of the Night.
