Every New Year, millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their health, break bad habits, get organized and remove stress from their lives. It's that time of year when many people look forward to a fresh start in life and resolve to improve their health. Making a serious commitment to your own health and well-being may be the best gift you can give yourself and your loved ones this holiday season. However, the problem with the start of a new year is that most good intentions are often derailed within a few weeks.
“A New Year's Resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or the reforming of a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous. The name comes from the fact that these commitments normally go into effect on New Year’s Day. Some examples include resolutions to donate to the poor more often, to become more assertive, or to become more environmentally responsible.”
Tradition dictates that every 365 days, you should try to kick bad habits and start your life anew. So sit down with a cup of coffee, a paper and a pen, and reflect: What kinds of New Year’s Resolutions will you make for yourself this January 1st?
Whatever your New Year’s Resolution, we at LVIRK Training Center, wish you a Very Happy and Healthy New Year!
