The PA Golden Gloves tournament started on March 5, 2011 and will continue throughout the month of April.  Gabe Fedor and Caterina “Cat” Lentini competed in the Central Pennsylvania championships. 

On March 11, 2011, Gabe Fedor fought his first match in the novice 165 pound division.  Gabe dominated his opponent in the ring.  Gabe won the fight by unanimous decision and moved on to the next round of the tournament.

On March 19, 2011, Gabe fought his second match in the Golden Gloves tournament.  This time Gabe was a little more tentative with his striking.  Unlike his previous fight, Gabe did not use his devastating jab to keep his opponent at bay, which enabled his opponent to score on him.  Gabe lost the fight by decision. 

On April 2, 2011, Cat fought her first match in the novice 165 pound division.  Cat knocked her opponent down in the first round and continued to dominate her opponent through the remaining rounds.  Cat won the fight by decision.
